This morning I taught a toning class and then did a lot of walking. Been blessed with absolutely gorgeous weather! Eating is sporadic but not too bad. Today was a sweaty, hot 2 mile run! I got a late start so it was a struggle as the temps are already a scorcher. But I got it done!!!
This morning I focused on resistance training with bands. Wow! It’s incredible how good of a workout you can get with just simple exercises! Check out my workout in the below video
I do enjoy my beach bike ride in Ocean City! I just did a short ride today…later in the week I will do my yearly ride to Atlantic City which I love. I really do appreciated the physical health and strength I have. It makes simple tasks so much easier and it’s empowering to feel strong. It also helps with my mood and general sense of well being. Got a nice 2 mile run in this morning and appreciated the flat run after doing hills lately. First day down at the beach and so far so good.
Did a 2 mile run with a good time for me, as I have been running slow lately. Felt good! Then I did some light resistance training with bands, and some core. Had a protein shake and I feel like my day is off to a great start! Heading to the beach today for 2 weeks YAY! Bringing bands and our bikes, so looking forward to some great workouts, and also a bike ride to Atlantic City. Gonna tackle that huge bridge like a champ!
Today was a well earned rest day. I am preparing to go to the beach for 2 weeks with my family and grandkids, so I hustled around getting things together. So even though it was a rest day, I never sat down!
This morning I did a step class and will be teaching Pilates this evening. I feel less tired, so that’s good. I can’t believe it’s been 2 months since I started the Birthday Transformation Journey! I am so happy I have done this, I can feel my body changing and I feel confident I will achieve my fitness goals by next May. Today I ran 2 miles then did a resistance training class. I felt really tired in the afternoon and took an hour nap! I’ve been stepping up my cardio and it is an adjustment. So I listened to my body and rested. I plan on making Friday my rest day, and I will sleep in a bit as well.
Back on track!!! Did weight training 2x this morning, then step class tonight. Eating was fantastic, just picked up phase 2 from Fast Metabolism Diet. So I feel fabulous and I had actually lost weight in England a little, as I had kept up with the eating and exercise. So as you can see, it can be done! You don’t have to let things completely go when you travel! HAVE A PLAN!
