Day 7

Today was a beautiful day so I decided to take advantage of it with a bike ride.  It felt so good to get back on the bike after a long absence.  I’ve had a great day of exercise and eating.   I will be traveling again Tuesday night.  So I will work out Monday and Tuesday then I will take Wednesday and Thursday as rest days as I have a funeral to attend for most of Thursday.  I will get back on track starting Friday after that.   Anyway that’s ...

Day 6

Another travel day but I managed to get a 1.5 mile run in!  Also had a good breakfast before I left. Obviously I couldn't eat well while travelling but I was able to make up for it when I got home.  I will get my water in as well. Traveling surely makes things tricky.  I should have packed snacks, but this was a rushed trip so I failed to do that.  Not good. Day 5

YAY!!! I kept to my goals today! I ran 1.5 miles and then did a complete weight training workout.  Boy did I sweat! But if felt good! I then went to have a healthy breakfast of fruit and eggs.   It feels good to accomplish my goal for today! How are you doing?  Are you keeping your goals?

Day 4

Well today was not a good day of exercise and eating as I had to drive 5 and a half hours to Vermont to visit my mom.  I knew this would be tough.  I started the day by walking the dog for 1 mile.  Then I ate an egg white sandwich and brought my water, which I am finishing tonight.  So that’s good.  Unfortunately, most of the day was spent sitting, driving and not eating enought.  Tomorrow, I will start out the day with a good healthy breakfast and ...

Day 3

Off to a great start today!  For breakfast I had an egg white omelet with tomatoes and avocado.  YUM!  Helped to start my day on a good course. Lunch was quinoa with Lean ground beef and that will probably be my dinner as well as I don’t feel like cooking!  Fruit in between and I feel good. Day 2

Day 2 Gosh it’s hard to focus right now! So busy and so something falls by the wayside, and today that something is the eating!  I got up early and did a toning class…then it fell apart, as I had to vote and get a mammogram!  I need a better plan for eating so I will work on that.  Tonight is a step class, so the exercise is going great!  Got to get the rest of my water intake as well.  Feel free to comment with how you are doing if you are doing this ...

DAY 1

DAY 1 Some things threatened to distract me from my goals today.  So I reminded myself to take this day, in itself, and not look to the future beyond this day.  I put my phone on do not disturb and started my day: 6:30am, woke up, got myself going and headed out the door for a 1.5 mile run.  Finished and headed to my workout room for some tubing exercises, 3 sets of each.
