Day 87

Took the morning off as I had my hair done woohooo!  At night I taught Cardio resistance and kicked my own butt!  Made me glad I had skipped the morning workout LOL.

Day 86

I did resistance training this morning, then taught a step and core class at night.  I LOVE step!  I know I’ve said that before but it’s my FAV!   In addition, I’m loving the energy I feel from doing a protein shake and a small glass of fresh veggie juice every morning.  I’m so thankful that I wake up a majority of mornings feel Fabulous!  You can too!  Email me at lisa@ahealthyfit.net for tips on how you can feel better and stronger in just a few weeks time!

Day 85

Today I did a BOSU workout with a client.  A Bosu is a dome shaped piece of equipment with a flat bottom.  It’s an incredible workout for cardio, balance and strength.  I haven’t done a workout on it in a while, and it was great!  Then, in the evening, I did a circuit training workout.   I had my juice this morning: I blended tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, kale, lemons, and limes.  It wasn’t the best but it didn’t taste bad.  I made ...

Day 84

Today turned into a rest day as I was busy all day.  Went to a tea room and had a wonderful brunch.  Back on track eating wise tomorrow!

Day 83

Well that day of rest yesterday did me a world of good!  I woke up, feeling ready to work out.  I ran 2 miles then did a really intense weight workout with 25 lb weights.  I felt really strong, and really really GOOD!  I love feeling that way!  It just goes to show, you can make strength gains, and feel strong at any age!  In some ways, I feel better than I did in my 30’s.  Although I am running a lot slower than I did in my 30’s, my overall health ...

Day 82

REST DAY!  Feels so good to sleep in a little.  I always know when my body needs it and I listen to my body.  I have my grandsons today so I know I will be somewhat active, but this was a good start to my day!

Day 81

This morning I felt a little sluggish, and only ran 1.5 miles.  I then walked .5 miles and this evening I taught a Pilates class.  Tomorrow will definitely be a rest day as I can feel my body is fatigued.  

Day 80

This morning I did a resistance training workout, then in the evening I taught cardio resistance.  You might be wondering why I taught twice.  I had a client in the morning via online, so I always find it helpful to do the workout with them as well because it helps them to visualize what I am telling them to do.  I used lighter weights for each workout and it felt good. If you want a nice steady muscle workout, here you go:

Day 79

This morning I taught a toning class then taught a step class in the evening.  I LOVE step and miss teaching it so much!  It defined my fitness training in the 90s.  It is such a fantastic workout and I’m always sweating so much!  Balletone does that as well.  I love coming up with Step choreography and it brings back so many great fitness memories for me. 

Day 78

I did resistance training today.  I enjoyed using my weight room again after being away from it for 2 weeks.  Then, this evening I taught balletone.  I love it!  It’s not high intensity, but I sweated like crazy and felt so good!  Constant movement and some awesome training for my legs.
