Day 97

Today was a rest day, although I walked around Philadelphia a bit.  It was a beautiful day and I got to spend it with my daughter.  We went to breakfast and had avocado toast, then went to her final dress fitting for her wedding in a month!  So exciting!  Great day and it felt good to take a break from exercising.  It is important to have a day where you do something else and relax a bit.  Back on exercising tomorrow!

Day 96

Today I did a weight workout.  It was a quick workout, and I made sure it wasn’t super strenous.  Tomorrow will be a rest day as I am going to Philadelphia and I won’t have time.  Eating is going well.  It helps to have a routine to stick to, and developing the habit of eating a certain way is crucial.  

Day 95

This morning I taught Step Pilates and then taught Pilates Stretch at night.  Felt good to stretch and then relax at the end of my day.  I will take it easy tomorrow morning.   Here’s the Pilates Stretch class I taught last night:

Day 94

Taught Cardio Resistance 2x today.  My body always starts to feel a little tired at this point in the week.  Tomorrow I teach step in the morning, and then Pilates.  By the time I end Pilates, I am ready for a rest lol.  

Day 93

Started my day teaching a toning workout.  I had felt tired waking up, but after class felt great!  Then in the evening I taught a step and core workout.  Boy did I sweat!  I felt like I really got some amazing cardio.  I love step! My eating was a bit off yesterday, but I’ll make sure to get back on track tomorrow.

Day 92

Monday morning started off with kettlebell training.  I hadn’t done kettlebells in a while, so it was nice to do them for a change.  I felt like all my muscles were really worked well, and I worked up a sweat.  I also felt my core very much LOL. In the evening I taught a Butts and Gutts workout, further working my core!  In addition, my legs and butt also got quite a workout!  I’m sure I’ll be feeling this workout one way or another.

Day 91

A well earned day of rest today.  Spent the day at my daughter in law’s baby shower at a local winery.  Beautiful property, although I only tasted some wine.  I just find I don’t enjoy drinking anymore, I have become boring LOL!  It’s just that I have goals I want to achieve and I don’t want to get derailed.  Same with sugar, I really want to stay away from it, or I know I will go off the deep end with it.  The biggest part of staying ...

Day 90

Well 3 months now on my 365 Birthday Transformation Journey and I feel better than ever!  It’s amazing how much this has become a part of my life.  And I know I have so much more to discover and achieve.  I am finding out a lot about myself and love it!  I’m discovering new eating habits and other disease prevention nutritional information as well.  Today I ran 1.5 miles and did a Bosu/ weight training workout.   Below find my video where I discuss ...

Day 89

Did a 2 mile run and it felt great!  If you know me, you know I HATE running.  I make myself do it because it’s a challenge and it helps my endurance for cycling.   So, the fact that it felt good and was a little easier this morning is encouraging. I’ve started a daily habit now: I make a veggie juice in the blender and make enough for the week.  I have one small glass of veggie juice every morning after a workout.  Then after an hour, I make myself a ...

Day 88

Well today was a day of exercise.  Taught step and sculpt and sweated so much!  Had a great routine and it was fun!  Then as a reward, I taught Pilates stretch and really focused on the stretching.  Felt so good! I am feeling so much better than I have felt in a while.  I can’t imagine what my life would be like without exercise, but there was a time in my life when I didn’t.  I actually feel better now as I approach 60 than I felt in my 20’s!  Blows my mind.  I remember looking ...
