Day 107

This morning I taught toning class and it felt great!  I taught it Tabata style, and it was an awesome workout.  Then at night I taught a step class complete with 90s music just like the old times LOL.  Had a ton of fun and sweated like crazy!   Eating went well, but could have taken in more water.

Day 106

Felt tired today coming off the trip.  Did some resistance training in the morning, then taught a tabata class in the evening.   I am bloated due to eating some things on vacation that I would not have normally eaten…like corn products!  But I did drink a lot of water on vacation and sweated like crazy LOL.  I know my body will get back on track this week.

Day 105

Rest day, travel day again.  Gonna feel great to get back on track this week, even though it was wonderful to be at the resort.  Time to really get myself back to the routine again in time for my daughter’s wedding at the end of the month.  My goal is to get down in weight and bodyfat in the next few weeks!  I’ll keep you posted!

Day 104

Another weight training day, this time with my daughters.  This turned out to be a much tougher one, so I really got some cardio in!

Day 103

I love working out at The Fives Beaches Hotel Gym.  It has everything I need with a great variety of equipment.  I did a weight training workout this morning bright and early! Eating wise, things are pretty good! I love waking up feeling energized and that motivates me to keep it up.  Here is a picture of my morning workout.

Day 102

Today was a day of travel so fitness wise it was a rest day.  I am at a resort with my daughters to celebrate a pre wedding Mother/ daughters trip to Mexico.  We ended up walking several miles throughout the day at the resort as it is a big place.  I had one drink, and drank water the rest of the time today, as well as eating sensibly.  Tomorrow I plan on hitting the gym here which is a great gym!  Since I know this resort so well (been here 8 times) I have my workouts ...

Day 101

Tonight was cardio resistance.  Was going to run this morning, but woke up feeling tired and sore, so I gave my body a break.

Day 100

100 Days!  Who would have thought??? Today was toning in the morning, and then step class at night. Day 99

Tonight I taught a Zumba class.  Always fun!   Did you know that when you learn new dance steps, it helps your brain to make new connections, and rewire in a way that helps to prevent dementia?  Learning completely new things, that you didn’t know before is so important for preserving brain health.  I’m currently learning spanish and it’s a challenge!  But I know in the long run, even if I am not fluent in the language, it will go a long way to ...

Day 98

Today I ran 2 miles and did abs.  Usually i take Sundays off, but because I took yesterday off, I felt the need to move today.  So glad I did, although it was HOT today.  But a beautiful day and I love it!  I’m going to miss the Summer!.  Almost to 100 days of my 365 Birthday Transformation Journey.  Wow!
