Day 27

So even though it was a night of coughing and not great sleep, I got up and did a workout.  I feel really good and glad I did it! I actually feel energized.  Its amazing how exercise really helps.  Of course you have to listen to your body.  Yesterday would have been a different story as I could tell I was run down.  But today is another day, and it’s started out great!  How about you?  How’s your journey going?  If I can help please email me at lisa@ahealthyfit.net.  I’ll be ...

Day 26

I’ll title this one “Not today folks!”. Last night was a night of coughing, leftover symptoms from the pesky cold I had this week.  Didn’t get good sleep and felt too tired this morning.  I will make sure to have a workout tomorrow.  On the upside, no sugar for days, only natural sugar from fruits.  It’s great eating clean!

Day 25

Took abreak this morning.  Worked all day then taught Cardio Resistance at night. Ate well but felt tired today.  Still getting over a slight cold/allergies.  Tomorrow is a travel day.

Day 24

Day 23

Woke up not feeling the best but I taught toning class in the morning.  Ate well throughout the day and drank plenty of liquids.  At night I taught Step and core.   Soldiered through and glad I did!

Day 22

Took advantage of the beautiful day and did a bike ride.  Not sure of the mileage but it was an hour and 15 min ride, hills included!  It felt so good, I can’t wait to do another ride.   Eating was great today, kept frequent small meals and ate really clean today.  Finished up my day with a glide and sweat class that was a killer!  

Day 21

I did not get a chance to workout this morning as my 3 grandsons came to spend the night last night, and were at my house all day.   Tomorrow I’ll get back on track.  Will be traveling Thursday thru Sunday to set up my Mexico condo for rentals, but I will be able to keep up with my workouts on Friday and Saturday.  Plan on eating well also.

Day 20

I ran 1.5 miles today and did and upper body and core workout.  Then it was off to the Philadelphia Zoo for the day.  Went with my children and grandchildren.  Was a wonderful family day!

Day 19

I’m taking a rest day today.  I can feel my body needs it.  So I will focus on my eating and making sure my water intake is what it should be. I enjoyed a morning watching my oldest grandson Jackson graduate from Kindergarten.  Hooray! 

Day 18

Sometimes it feels as thought the process of reaching my fitness goals is so slow!  Almost like slogging through mud or being mired in quicksand.  It can feel like I’m moving backwards!  It’s so discouraging.  Today was one of those days for some reason.  I felt defeated.  I almost skipped working out this morning as I woke up feeling down.  I forced myself to get up and get moving.  I’m so glad I did.  The dreary weather really ...
